Jayna Levins, of our Belle Glade Office, is a part of a non-profit organization called Ella’s Closet. Debra Allen founded this incredible organization, after Jayna’s 1st daughter passed away at only 4 months old from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. SIDS has no symptoms and gives no warning, resulting in the unexplained death of a seemingly healthy baby under a year old.

This organization allows mothers in need of help, attend classes on car seat safety, Bible lessons, cooking classes, CPR classes, home safety classes, etc. By attending these classes, they are able to earn “Ella Bucks,” which can be used to shop in Ella’s Closet for items like clothes, shoes, toys, diapers, wipes, toiletries, baby food, formula, and strollers. All of the items at Ella’s Closet have been donated by the community or purchased from fundraisers put on by Ella’s Closet.

The following picture was from a field trip in June to John Prince Park – Splash Pad. The dedicated Mothers, who attended every class, were rewarded with this trip for them and their children. Jayna and her 1 year old daughter, Raelynn, tagged along and had a wonderful time with the other mothers and children.
