Our History
History has a funny way of sneaking up on us. Suddenly, before you know it, you've been in business for 30 years! The three founding partners of Atlantic Pacific Insurance - Jeff Hooker, Doug Peace, and Greg Behl - joined forces in 1981 to create an entity that was better than the one they were in.

In addition to Jeff, Doug, and Greg (who are all active in the business), Matt Peace became a partner in 1990, after working at API for many years. And Tom Tardonia joined the partnership in 1997.
Today the five partners lead five offices throughout south Florida. Our main office is in Palm Beach Gardens, with additional offices located in Belle Glade, Key West, Big Pine Key, and Stuart.
We consider ourselves to be our client's "Best and Only" source for their insurance obligations. Our efforts are concentrated on providing excellent sales and service with superior Property and Casualty lines of insurance for BUSINESS and PERSONAL requirements, as well as assisting our clients with all Life and Health Insurance needs to protect both their family and business.
We believe it is an honor to be able to serve our community for 30 years.
